About BCRU

The Business Crime Reduction Unit (BCRU) was originally formed to work alongside Action Against Business Crime (AABC) which was formed as a partnership between the Home Office and the British Retail Consortium, AABC is now and independent not for profit organisation with a sole purpose to reduce acquisitive crime across all sectors of business.

The BCRU remit is to provide high quality security and business monitoring systems that are affordable to almost every UK based business no matter their size.

We now work through a wide variety of organisations, which include thousands of insurance brokers, several Chambers of Commerce, a wide range of business associations and federations, various Police Forces and of course all of the AABC member Business Crime Reduction Partnerships (BCRP).

The BCRU is a division of 4bi a national security facilitator that works with many corporate organisations and various Goverment departments providing security, business monitoring and care solutions throughout the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The Administrative headquarters of BCRU is based in Rugby, Warwickshire. BCRU deliver the service provided through a network of professional security companies based throughout the UK. All these organisations are either SSAIB or NSI Registered, all staff are security screened to BS4737 and all installations are certificated and open to inspection by the SSAIB.
